Mark A. Schwartz, MD

Dr. Schwartz specializes in Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine.

He received his medical degree from Chicago Medical School, and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at JPS hospital in Fort Worth, TX. He then completed specialty training in Sports Medicine with a fellowship at Thomas Jefferson Hospital/Rothman Institute in Philadelphia. Here he assisted in the care of athletes from the Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles, Soul and St. Joseph’s University.

Dr. Schwartz treats all types of general orthopedic injuries and fractures in all age groups. He has specialty expertise in treating routine and complex conditions of the knee and shoulder using both open and arthroscopic procedures. He also performs joint replacement procedures in the knee and shoulder for various conditions.

Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Schwartz has been in practice for the last two years in the North Jersey and New York City area.
